Callidus Design has been appointed by SGL Carbon Fibers Ltd to carry out the mechanical, electrical and controls design for a number of work packages associated with the replacement of their existing RTO No2 (Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser) plant at Unit 15 within their Muir of Ord site. The design packages will be sub divided into contractor work elements. These packages will include an upgrade to the Compressed Air Installation; modifications to the existing Natural Gas & Nitrogen Installations; modifications to the existing Ductwork Installation; modifications to the existing Electrical Switchgear; upgrades to the general Small Power & Lighting Installations; modifications to the Lightning Protection Installation; and modifications to the damper control and extraction monitoring installations.
